Kitchen and Bath Remodeling in Warwick Since 1989

RIKB Design Build plans, designs and installs kitchens and baths for Rhode Island homeowners, and every project carries a five-year workmanship warranty. Start in the 3,000 square foot design center on Jefferson Boulevard.

Kitchen and bath remodeling in Warwick, built on 37 years of Rhode Island homes

RIKB Design Build has handled kitchen and bath remodeling in Warwick since it opened its doors in 1989. The family-owned firm plans, designs and installs every project itself, which gives it tighter control over scheduling, quality and cost than a contractor who hands off parts of the job.

Before you commit, you can stand inside full-size kitchen and bath displays at 139 Jefferson Boulevard. Open the drawers, feel the countertop finishes, compare tile and fixtures.

Several RIKB design consultants are Certified Kitchen & Bath designers and Certified Aging in Place Specialists, so a bath can be planned for the years ahead, not just for today.

Rooms the RIKB team plans and builds

Kitchens

Simple cosmetic updates, pull-and-replace kitchens or a fully custom room, in traditional, contemporary or modern styles. Designers work on the layout, storage and countertop choice first, because those small decisions often make the biggest daily difference.

Bathrooms

Primary baths, guest baths and closets turned into powder rooms. The designers ask questions you may not have thought of, then help you choose materials that fit your budget, from a simple cosmetic refresh to a spa-like retreat.

Aging in Place

Certified Aging in Place Specialists plan baths and kitchens that work as your needs change, such as zero-entry showers and fold-down shower seats. RIKB has also won a Qualified Remodeler Master Design Bronze award for an accessible bathroom.

Additions, Basements and Whole Homes

Home additions, finished basements, multi-room renovations, game rooms and bar areas. RIKB won a Chrysalis regional award for an addition under $250k and a PRO New England Gold award for an entire house, so larger projects are routine here.

Mudrooms, Pantries and Built-ins

The smaller rooms that make a house run: mudrooms, laundry rooms, pantries, home offices, built-ins and coffee bars. Each one gets the same design consultant, 3D planning and installation crew as a full kitchen remodel would.

Common questions for the RIKB design team

Do you work outside Rhode Island?

Yes. RIKB serves homeowners throughout Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts and eastern Connecticut from the Warwick design center. It is licensed in all three states: Rhode Island Reg. #3984, Massachusetts #164199 and Connecticut HIC.0673137. Call to confirm your town falls inside the service area.

How long will my remodel take?

It depends on size and scope. Smaller projects may take just a few weeks, and larger renovations or additions take longer. Because design and product selections are final before work begins, delays stay low. One client wrote that a complete kitchen was finished in the promised three and a half weeks.

What does the warranty cover?

Every project is guaranteed for five full years under RIKB's Quality Assurance and Five-Year Workmanship Warranty. That is on top of manufacturer warranties on many installed products. RIKB also carries liability insurance up to $2 million per project and workers' compensation for every staff member.

Can you remodel an older or coastal home?

Yes. The team has remodeled many historic and character-filled homes, keeping the architectural details while updating how the rooms work. It has also finished projects in coastal communities, where it chooses durable materials and plans layouts around natural light and water views.

Can I visit the design center first?

Please do. The 3,000+ square foot design center at 139 Jefferson Boulevard is open weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with off-hours appointments on request. RIKB also hosts complimentary remodeling seminars there, and you can book a virtual consultation.
